“If everything goes according to plan, these people will spend the rest of their lives behind bars,” Agent Jimenez (Hemky Madera) told her during a meeting later that night. “You did your job, you kept your word. The U.S. attorney will look at your case favorably.”
After Agent Bowman (William Bodner) told her, “You did good, kid,” Rue simply responded, “Never thought I’d hear that.”
Once again, however, Rue was put in a potentially fatal situation when Alamo demanded that she rob the safe. As he put it, “You need it more than I do. It’s your plan. Don’t you want to see it through?”
