Two men and a family dog have died in an off-road vehicle crash in a tiny township inland of the Sunshine Coast.
Four people and the dog were in the UTV, or utility terrain vehicle, when it went over an embankment and hit a tree at the property near Woodford about 1.30pm on Monday.
The 59-year-old man driving the vehicle and a 75-year-old man died at the site of the crash, on Cedarvale Road in Sandy Creek.
Their dog died in the crash.
A 33-year-old woman was critically injured in the crash. She was airlifted to Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital.
A 50-year-old woman who escaped the wreckage was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
The vehicle will undergo mechanical inspection.
