Nikki Bella reveals she’s ‘super celibate’ nearly 2 years after splitting from ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev
Nikki Bella candidly admitted that she’s still “super celibate” nearly two years after she parted ways from her ex-husband, Artem Chigvintsev.
“I’m pretty much like a nun at this point,” the wrestling star jokingly told Us Weekly on Saturday.
“Super celibate. I should just put on a ring,” she quipped. “I wish I was out there getting wild. I just don’t have energy for it.”
Nikki’s sister, Brie Bella, also told the outlet how she’s “been trying” to set her sister up with potential prospects, teasing that “there’s been some.”
However, Nikki’s focus and priorities have been everywhere but dating, as she’s busy parenting her 6-year-old son, Matteo, while simultaneously working on her and Brie’s podcast, “The Nikki & Brie Show,” and their wine company, Bonita Bonita.
“She’s too busy, and I get it,” Brie, 42, said, explaining that Matteo, whom she shares with Chigvintsev, is “her world right now.”
“I try. But she’s like, ‘No, no,’” Brie added, explaining that Nikki, 42, seeks a low-maintenance connection.
“This is the thing with her,” the WWE star explained.
“If she has a free night, she wants to Netflix and chill. She’s like, ‘I don’t want to go on a date. I don’t have to dress up.’”
Brie married pro wrestler Bryan Danielson in 2014, and they’ve welcomed a 9-year-old daughter, Birdie, and a 5-year-old son, Buddy.
As for Nikki, she tied the knot with Chigvintsev, 44, in 2022 and filed for divorce from the “Dancing With the Stars” pro in 2024 when he was arrested for domestic violence.
The charges against the dancer were later dropped, and he denied any wrongdoing, with his attorney alleging that he was the one who called police to seek “protection from his wife’s persistent aggression.”
In December 2024, Nikki opened up about her and Chigvintsev’s “tough” split, claiming that they were “doing a great job” at co-parenting and she prayed they could get to a spot where they could “share holidays together.”
Nikki, meanwhile, was last rumored to be dating Philadelphia Eagles player Cooper DeJean, 23, after she was seen posing at his locker during the Eagles vs. Las Vegas Raiders game in December.
Later that day, she and the athlete also appeared flirty while dancing with a group of friends at a bar post-game.
The internet personality later indirectly denied the allegations on her podcast, saying that, “It’s crazy because I actually haven’t been touched or done anything in so long.”
