Nick Reiner is reportedly unrecognizable seven months after his arrest over the alleged murders of his parents, Rob and Michele Reiner.

“Nick no longer looks like Nick. He is rapidly deteriorating. No one would recognize him,” an insider close to the family told the Daily Mail.

“He is almost bald because they have to keep his hair super short to keep the bugs out, and he is super skinny because of the intense medication he is on. His eyes are very sunken in.”

According to the insider, Nick is also psychologically deteriorating as he remains in solitary confinement.

“Nick has not been well for many years. But before jail some of his personality could be recognized. Not now,” the source claimed.

“He is like a babbling child, totally out of it. It’s so bad his lawyers have a hard time talking to him.”

The 32-year-old’s siblings — Jake Reiner, 35, and Romy Reiner, 28 — are also allegedly concerned “that he will never be sane again and that he could possibly die as his heart could weaken from the constant strain.”

A rep for the Reiner family wasn’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.

Nick has been behind bars at the Los Angeles Twin Towers Correctional Facility since the deaths of his parents in December 2025. He faces life in prison without the possibility of parole or a possible death sentence.

Nick was diagnosed with schizophrenia and had a history of drug addiction at the time of the murders on Dec. 14. He also allegedly once “destroyed” his famous parents’ home in a drug-fueled rage while high on meth.

“He is almost bald because they have to keep his hair super short to keep the bugs out, and he is super skinny because of the intense medication he is on. His eyes are very sunken in,” the source continued. (Seen here: Romy, Nick, Rob, Michele and Jake Reiner). michelereiner/Instagram

The “Being Charlie” writer got into a heated argument with his parents at Conan O’Brien’s the day before the murders. Sources previously told The Post that Nick had “freaked out,” with Rob telling guests that he was “scared” for his son’s “deteriorating” mental state.

Rob and Michele were found stabbed to death at their Brentwood, California, home by their daughter Romy. He was 79 and she was 70.

After pleading not guilty in February, Nick is requesting access to his $1.5 million trust fund to cover his attorney’s fees as he awaits trial.

A former inmate who has stayed in the Twin Towers previously told the Daily Mail about the conditions of the jail, saying that inmates “constantly scream night and day — they don’t shut up. There is no mute button.”

“The noise really gets to you, it rocks your nervous system because it’s weird, like howling and all the profanity and sick sex talk,” the source said.

The former inmate shared that the jail gets brutally cold during the winter and there is little to no sunlight.
