Is this the start of a new creative coupling?
A spy at GQ’s Met Gala afterparty tells us they overheard “Girls” creator Lena Dunham deep in conversation with “Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette,” star Sarah Pidgeon about working together.
We hear the pair were hanging out chatting at the bar at Cafe Zaffri at the Twenty Two.
“Lena was plotting a show with the JFK show girl” a source excitedly told Page Six.
Reps for both did not get back to request for comment.
The “Too Much” co-director has been back in the news cycle lately promoting her her new memoir, “Famesick.”
It was her first time back on the Met Gala red carpet since since 2019, wearing a sparkling red sequin Valentino dress lined with feathers.
In 2017, she had to be rushed to the emergency room after the event due to endometriosis symptoms. She later revealed she’d spent four days in the hospital.
In 2018, she left a rehab facility where she was being treated for a painkiller addiction to attend the gala, returning to the facility at midnight.
This year seems to have gone better.
Pidgeon, who previously starred in Amazon’s “The Wilds,” and was on stage in Broadway’s “Stereophonic,” wore Loewe on the red carpet.
The Ryan Murphy show has become an instant cult classic.
Also at the GQ bash were Shaboozey, Lindsey Vonn, Connor Storrie, Colman Domingo, Prabal Gurung, Joe Alwyn, Morgan Spector, Law Roach, Alex Consani, Laufey, Jack Harlow, Angela Bassett, Rami Malek, Rev. Al Sharpton and man about town Zach Weiss.
