Jennifer Aniston may have one of the world’s most envious heads of hair — but she still looks back and cringes.

“Think before you bang,” the 57-year-old actress wrote on Instagram Thursday, sharing a series of photos of herself sporting fringe.

Interestingly, her pics were all from on-screen appearances including “Horrible Bosses,” “Marley & Me,” “Rock Star” and “Friends.”

Aniston also included a cartoon from the New Yorker, with a turtle declaring, “It took a hundred years, but I finally grew out my bangs.”

While she may have some issue with her past coiffures, Aniston’s built an empire around her hair, having launched her Lolavie product line in 2021.

And it appears the star’s famous friends and fans disagree with her take on bangs.

“You wore them best ♥️,” commented Sandra Bullock, while Debi Mazar admitted, “Every time I watch “Cleopatra” (and smoke a J) I go in the bathroom and cut bangs😂 When will I learn?”

Dax Shepard chimed in, “Bangs: The Most Dangerous Game.” And Rita Wilson wrote, “She bangs. She bangs.”

Plenty of others said Aniston’s post had the opposite of its desired effect, inspiring them to cut their own hair.

But her hair colorist, Michael Canalé, told us her current look works best because it’s consistent. Getty Images

“Girl, I don’t think you understand what you’re doing….These posts are going to convince people to get bangs because you always look so good,” said one fan.

“Jen’s hair has been setting impossible standards for decades and somehow still keeps winning,” said another.

Aniston’s hair colorist, Michael Canalé, recounted the origins of “The Rachel” to Page Six Style in 2019, summing up her consistently great looks through the years.

“While most other celebrities have tried long and short and wildly different colors, Jennifer has become a style icon because she doesn’t go trendy,” Canalé told us at the time.
