Influencer Nara Smith documents ‘warrior’ daughter Whimsy’s cancer battle with rare photos
Nara Smith gave a glimpse of her “little warrior girl” Whimsy Lou’s cancer journey via Instagram on Friday.
Two days after revealing her and husband Lucky Blue Smith’s 2-year-old daughter’s diagnosis, the influencer posted a picture of gems covering the little one’s bald head.
The carousel continued with a photo of the toddler’s shorn curls, as well as a “Happy Birthday” banner hanging above a hospital bed.
Nara, 24, also included picture books about kids battling cancer, followed by a sweet snap of Whimsy touching her 8-month-old sister Fawnie Golden’s head.
The slideshow concluded with a shot of Lucky, 28, at the hospital and Nara cuddling their daughter.
“Sharing something this vulnerable wasn’t an easy decision but seeing every message, prayer, story of a similar experience and kindness has made it a little easier,” Nara captioned the social media upload.
“To every family or parent walking through something heavy right now, we’re thinking of you too🤍,” she added.
Nara went public with Whimsy’s health struggles on Wednesday.
While she did not clarify the current state of Whimsy’s health or the type of cancer she was battling, Nara said her child was diagnosed “late last year.”
She hoped the announcement would bring “comfort and alleviate the feeling of loneliness” for others in the same boat.
Nara, additionally, “wanted to … incentivize [her followers] to go get something checked out that [they’ve] been avoiding.”
She noted that “processing … and navigating” Whimsy’s cancer had been “really hard” for her family.
Nara and Lucky are also the parents of daughter Rumble Honey, 5, son Slim Easy, 4 — and they revealed Fawnie’s arrival in October 2025.
The couple have been married since 2020.
Prior to their romance, Lucky welcomed daughter Gravity, now 8, with model Stormi Bree.
