Grey’s Anatomy Alum Chyler Leigh Reacts to Eric Dane’s “Devastating” Death
Chyler Leigh and Nathan West’s marriage has flatlined.
The Grey’s Anatomy alum recently shared that she and Nathan—with whom she tied the knot in 2002—had quietly separated.
Chyler revealed their split—though she didn’t share the exact timing—during an appearance on the Books That Changed My Life podcast, when host Chris Collins asked about a time in her life during which she needed to ask for help.
“I think getting to a point where my relationship with my ex had reached a point where it was just time,” she said during the May 12 episode. “It was time to let it go. Even after such a long time. We’d been together—it would be 26 years this year.”
Chyler—who shares kids Noah, 23, Taelyn, 19, and Anniston, 17—confirmed the split was “amicable” and that they’re coparenting their three children.
“We’re doing all the things that we can,” she said, “but just hit a point where it was like, ‘Okay, what you want and what I want aren’t really lining up anymore.’ And I’d rather us be on good terms and us not harbor the resentment and the anger—all that stuff. It’s not worth it.”
