Amy Schumer is giving an inside look into her parenthood journey.
The 44-year-old threw a birthday party for her son Gene, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Fisher.
Donning floral facepaint, she shared in a May 3 Instagram Story, “This [woman] just threw her first bday party as a single mom.”
The Trainwreck star shared photos of herself mingling at the busy party, as well as eating cake with her kiddo. The birthday cake was adorned with ninja stars, a sword, a ninja topper, and a banner that said, “Happy 7th Birthday Gene!”
Besides having a party, Amy also brought her son to the zoo, giving a glimpse at the animals her family saw including a hedgehog, bears, a leopard, and a red panda. Covering his face with a sticker, she beamed alongside Gene, who wore a funny shirt saying “I was 6, now I’m 7.”
The Inside Amy Schumer alum went all out for Gene’s birthday party, his first milestone following Amy’s split from Chris. The two called it quits after seven years of marriage in December 2025.
