Adrien Brody shuts down swanky NYC restaurant for A-list celebration

Adrien Brody closed out a swanky New York City restaurant to celebrate the success of his Broadway show, “The Fear of 13.”

The “Brutalist” actor hosted an intimate dinner for his castmates, friends and family at the new hotspot Estelle’s in the Meatpacking District Wednesday night, a source exclusively told Page Six.

“The restaurant was completely shut down,” the insider shared, adding, “The whole night felt incredibly celebratory.”

His girlfriend Georgina Champan (seen here with the actor at the dinner party) joined in on the festivities.

We’re told Brody’s girlfriend, Georgina Chapman, and even got a sweet shout-out from the two-time Oscar winner.

“During a brief toast, Adrien praised his Broadway co-star Tessa Thompson, calling her a ‘wonderful partner in crime,’ before sweetly acknowledging girlfriend Georgina,” the source said.

Brody, 53, closed out his touching speech by thanking the room for supporting him through the limited-run production.

“Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for sharing this special experience … It’s been a profoundly enriching experience,” he told the group. “I feel blessed to do it all with you — my love and my people.”

His Broadway co-star Tessa Thompson (seen here with Brody at the event) was also present.
The cast celebrated their success with a giant chocolate leg to smash (photographed here).

We hear guests gathered around a long communal table brimming with crudo, pasta, steak and the eatery’s signature banana bread cake. Cocktails and wine were also flowing late into the evening.

“Everyone was sharing stories throughout cocktails and dinner, and there was so much love at the table,” the source said.

To close out the evening, Brody surprised partygoers with a massive piece of chocolate shaped like a leg to smash — a playful nod to the theater expression, “break a leg.”

To the crowd’s delight, Brody and Thomson were seen taking turns using a large wooden stick to smash the knee and bring good luck to their cast and crew.

Brody looked cool in blue jeans, a black sweater and a shiny black bomber jacket. Chapman matched the A-lister in a black leather jacket layered over a black blouse.

Thomson also took a swing at the dessert (seen above).

He was seen posing for a sweet photo with the fashion designer, whom he started dating in 2020.

The ex-wife of Harvey Weinstein and Brody made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2021.

Brody’s play, which opened on April 15 to rave reviews, has already attracted star-studded audiences, including Kim Kardashian, who is a producer of the show.

Page Six reported last week that Kardashian purchased last-minute tickets for herself and boyfriend Lewis Hamilton for an evening viewing of the production.

“She went into the show without anyone realizing it, and then stopped backstage to say hi to the cast,” an insider told us at the time.

The previous night, she hit the James Earl Jones Theater to see the show with momager Kris Jenner, sister Kylie and her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet.

Kardashian, a prison reform advocate, backed the show, which tells the true story of a man who spent decades on death row before proving his innocence and reclaiming his freedom.
