Writer-director Megan Park’s highly-anticipated next film lands a deal

Apple Original Films has won a bidding war for “My Old Ass” writer-director Megan Park‘s next film, “Die Alive,” Page Six Hollywood has learned.

The Hollywood Reporter previously reported that Warner Bros., Sony, Universal Amazon and Netflix all wanted the hot spec script as well. The film reportedly centers on a woman who learns that a much older boyfriend has a wife and kids when they show up on her doorstep unexpectedly.

Sundance Film Festival sensation Park’s credits include “My Old Ass,” starring Aubrey Plaza and Maisy Stella, as well as the 2021 film, “The Fallout,” starring Jenna Ortega and the upcoming series, “Sterling Point,” which is being made with Margot Robbie‘s production company LuckyChap for Amazon MGM.

“Die Alive” will also be produced by Robbie’s LuckyChap as well as FilmNation.
