Why Blake Lively is ‘ruined’ in Hollywood over Justin Baldoni lawsuit: report

A Disney executive reportedly alleged that Blake Lively’s career is “ruined” following her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.

“This lawsuit has ruined her in Hollywood,” the insider, who allegedly worked with the “Gossip Girl” alum, told the Daily Mail in an article published Saturday.

“The truth is she was never that popular. She had a reputation for being difficult, one of those toxic people who always thinks she knows best,” the source added.

According to the exec, Lively, 38, has “made her bed and she can lie in it,” claiming that “people in Hollywood” aren’t “shedding tears over her.”

Reps for the actress and Disney weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.

Lively sued Baldoni for sexual harassment and retaliation in December 2024, citing several alleged incidents from their time on the “It Ends With Us” set.

Baldoni denied his co-star’s allegations and responded with a $400 million counter lawsuit, which was ultimately tossed out in June.

However, a judge dismissed Lively’s sexual harassment allegations, leaving only three claims against the director, including retaliation, breach of contract and aiding and abetting in retaliation.

“We’re very pleased the Court dismissed all sexual harassment claims and every claim brought against the individual defendants,” Baldoni’s legal team told Page Six in a statement.

“These were very serious allegations, and we are grateful to the Court for its careful review of the facts, law and voluminous evidence that was provided,” the attorneys continued.

In a separate statement, Lively’s team claimed the sexual harassment allegations wouldn’t be heading to court because they considered Lively an independent contractor instead of an employee.

“Not because the defendants did nothing wrong,” the lawyers said. “[Lively] looks forward to testifying at trial and continuing to shine a light on this vicious form of online retaliation so that it becomes easier to detect and fight.”

Lively and Baldoni’s legal teams have failed to come to a settlement agreement, leading them to face off in court on May 18.

It’s unclear who will testify in court, but Taylor Swift’s name has been dragged into the legal proceedings several times.
