Travis Kelce is kicking off his partnership with Tommy Hilfiger.
The Kansas City Chiefs player was spotted shooting a campaign for the American design house in New York City on Monday in and around Central Park.
For the shoot, he wore a patriotic red, white and blue plaid button-down that was layered over a white crewneck T-shirt. On top was a navy jacket.
He paired the look with khaki pants, and one could catch a glimpse of his gold watch as he effortlessly tossed a football between his hands.
Before the shoot, Kelce got primped at the Plaza Hotel with a litlte help from both his glam squad and his personal supporters.
Fiancée Taylor Swift entered the Plaza under cover of black umbrella, keeping herself out of the paparazzi’s eye.
However, Swift BFF — and Tommy Hilfiger collaborator — Gigi Hadid was photographed, showing off her newly dyed blond hair and wearing a bright red cardigan.
Hair was top of mind for the day as Kelce himself got a quick cut while prepping for the shoot, entering the hotel with a longer cut and beard and leaving with a more trimmed, shaved style.
Hairstylist Vince Garcia shared a pic of all of his hair tools on Tuesday morning, writing, “Day 2” and geo-tagging Central Park, New York, confirming there will be more pics to come.
Last month, Kelce was announced as Tommy Hilfiger’s newest global brand ambassador and creative collaborator.
In a press release, the brand noted that he will appear in “a series of campaigns shaped by relentless optimism, endless curiosity and a belief in dreaming big” this coming fall as well as will design a capsule collection for the brand that “reimagines elevated Tommy icons,” set to be released the following spring.
In the same press release, Kelce was quoted as saying, “Getting to work with Tommy and put my own twist on timeless pieces, in a way that feels original for today, is a dream come true.”
It’s not yet clear whether the clothing he was wearing on day one of his New York City-centric photoshoot were pieces by his own design or simply from the general upcoming Tommy Hilfiger collection.
