Two teens have been charged over a slew of alleged burglaries across Brisbane’s south in the lead-up to Christmas.
A 15-year-old boy from Cannon Hill has been charged with 30 offences, including 12 counts of entering a dwelling and eight counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
A 14-year-old from Inala is facing eight charges, including three counts of entering a dwelling and three counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
A 15-year-old boy from Cannon Hill and a 14-year-old from Inala have been charged over a spate of break-ins.
Police allege the 15-year-old’s offending spanned December 10 to December 26, while the 14-year-old was allegedly involved between December 20 and Boxing Day.
It is alleged the burglaries and attempted burglaries occurred in Cannon Hill, Hawthorne, Murarrie, Annerley, Camp Hill and Holland Park.
Officers from the Dutton Park Criminal Investigation Branch arrested the boys, who were expected to appear in Brisbane Childrens Court on Saturday.
Investigations are ongoing and police have asked for anyone with information or vision that might be relevant to get in touch.
