Sydney Sweeney is trying to beat Tom Cruise at his own game.

The “Euphoria” actress shared a clip on Instagram Monday of herself performing an epic plane stunt, with the caption, “watch out Tom Cruise.”

In the video, Sweeney filmed herself standing on a flying yellow biplane while wearing black safety goggles and a red vest that safely attached her to the plane.

At one point, the plane flew completely upside down as Sweeney stayed in position, smiling gleefully at the camera.

Cruise, 64, hasn’t responded to Sweeney’s video, but the official Instagram account for one of his franchise films, “Top Gun,” commented, “Feel the need for speed.”

Meanwhile, fans praised the fearless actress for embarking on the daring ride.

“That looks Hella scary, hope you had fun!” one fan wrote.

“Didnt know this was a thing. thats badass,” another fan commented.

A third user added, “That’s another level of extreme.”

A different fan tagged Cruise’s account and wrote, “She’s ready to be in ‘Mission Impossible.’”

Cruise famously performed a similar stunt to Sweeney’s in a scene from 2025’s “Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning,” where his character, Ethan Hunt, dangles from the wing of a 1930s biplane while fighting Esai Morales’ character, Gabriel.

In a behind-the-scenes clip released last year, Cruise revealed the stunt “almost broke my back.”

Cruise explained that hanging from the plane was “punishing” and “brutal,” as director Christopher McQuarrie revealed the movie star “improvised” the moment where Ethan slams into the side of the plane.

“You were like, ‘I think we’re gonna need that,’ and I was like, ‘I didn’t ask you to do that,’” McQuarrie said.

Cruise revealed in a separate interview with Empire that he passed out filming the thrilling airplane scene.

“When you stick your face out, going over 120 to 130 miles an hour, you’re not getting oxygen,” he said last year. “So I had to train myself how to breathe. There were times I would pass out physically; I was unable to get back into the cockpit.”

In 2023, Cruise told Empire that performing his own stunts for all his movies is “never the easy road.”

However, the “Jerry Maguire” star noted that he has “a responsibility to audiences, the studio, my crew, my cast and industry” and “can’t compromise the storytelling.”

Cruise also performed a wild stunt at the Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony.

He jumped from the top of Stade de France and landed on the stadium field, grabbed the Olympic flag, rode away on a motorcycle, boarded a plane near the Eiffel Tower, and flew the flag to the US.

Then, Cruise skydived to the famed Hollywood sign in Los Angeles and attached the five multicolored Olympic rings to the two Os in “Hollywood.”
