Surry Hills pub fire suspends light rail services

A fire has taken hold at an inner Sydney pub, suspending light rail services and sending smoke billowing into the sky.

The blaze at the heritage listed Dove and Olive on Devonshire Street at Surry Hills broke out shortly after 1.30pm on Tuesday.

Video posted to Reddit shows firefighters responding to the blaze.

The pub is adjacent to the Light Rail, and services have been suspended on the Randwick and Kingsford lines.
