Amanda Batula and West Wilson are in a “full-blown relationship,” Page Six is told.
After the “Summer House” co-stars finally confessed to their secret romance via a joint statement on Tuesday, a source connected to the situation claimed to us that the two are a couple.
“It’s not just a hookup,” our insider insisted, adding that the duo’s co-stars — including Wilson’s ex Ciara Miller and Batula’s ex Kyle Cooke — are “pissed” and “disappointed.”
After weeks of mounting rumors and undeniable evidence, Batula and Wilson confirmed their romantic “connection” with a message shared via their respective Instagram Stories.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” the memo read.
“It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
They continued, “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
The pair explained that because their “feelings evolved,” they “wanted to take time to understand exactly what [they] were feeling.”
They concluded, “We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
Reps for Batula, Wilson, Miller and Cooke did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Last week, we revealed that besties Batula and Miller had recently experienced a fracture in their friendship.
They were scheduled to film a joint Amazon Live presentation for Olly vitamins and supplements on March 24 but ended up doing it separately.
They also stopped “liking” each other’s Instagram posts — and even seemingly “unliked” many from the past.
