Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Renewed for Season 6

MomTok survives to dance another day. 

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is set to return for another season on Hulu with star Layla Taylor confirming not only where they stand with season five, but that the show would be back for season six.

“We’re not done with season five,” she explained on the Aug. 5 episode of Get Real, “and we’re filming for season six right now.”

And while the 25-year-old admitted that she and costars Jessi Draper, Jen Affleck, Miranda Hope, Mikayla Matthews, Mayci Neeley, Taylor Frankie Paul and Whitney Leavitt were “exhausted” from the pace of shooting, they also understood that “it makes sense.”

“We have this battle that we—all of us girls talk about that when we’re not filming, I miss it,” Taylor said. “I honestly get kind of bored. And so much happens too conveniently when the cameras go down. So it’s like at this point, let’s just film the whole year.”
