A woman walking on a highway west of Brisbane has died after being hit by a ute.
The 30-year-old was struck by a Ford Ranger just before 7.45pm on Friday near a BP service station on the Warrego Highway in Haigslea.
The Ranger’s 50-year-old male driver was unhurt and returned a negative test for drugs and alcohol.

Paramedics also assessed a woman in her 40s and a teenager who were passengers in the ute but neither was taken to hospital.
The road was closed in both directions for several hours but has since reopened.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and has asked for anyone with relevant vision of the incident to get in touch.
