Having spent her 20s on reality TV, Paige DeSorbo isn’t afraid to get real about her skincare struggles.
The “Summer House” alum recently spilled her beauty secrets to Into the Gloss, saying she turned to Face Reality products after she experienced difficulties with oral acne medication.
“A couple of their products, like the mandelic serum, really changed the game for me, along with the tretinoin that I get from my dermatologist,” she says, noting that the brand “specializes in acne-prone skin.”
While her serum of choice is only available via skin professionals, DeSorbo is also a fan of the company’s Barrier Balance Creamy Cleanser, which she pairs with Tula’s The Cult Classic Purifying Face Cleanser. (“Because I do so much glam, I like double cleansing,” she explained.)

Since her skin gets congested if she doesn’t tone at least once a week, DeSorbo also incorporates Face Reality’s Moisture Balance Toner, followed by Caudalie Vinoperfect Brightening Dark Spot Serum.
In addition to trying the latest and greatest launches, she’s also embracing skincare staples that have been around for decades, including Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Gel-Creme.

“There’s something about Estée Lauder where I’m like, yeah, they know eyes; it feels grown-up,” she quipped.
DeSorbo’s makeup routine is a similarly high-low mix, including products like Maybelline’s under-$10 Lifter Gloss — “I honestly love drugstore glosses,” she said — and Victoria Beckham’s Contour Styluses, which she goes as far as saying “changed [her] life.”

“They’re so skinny so you can be precise,” she added. “There was a day where [the Marble shade] was the only thing besides concealer I used on my face and my makeup had never looked better.”
And while DeSorbo’s signature scent is Burberry’s strawberry- and orange blossom-scented Her Eau de Parfum, not everything in her routine can be found on Sephora shelves.
“Having a cat is also really important to my wellness,” she said. “Take it from me: If you really want to lower your cortisol level, get a cat. Daphne changed my whole life.”
