‘Melrose Place’ alum Patrick Muldoon gushed over future project in final post

Patrick Muldoon gushed over a future project in his heartbreaking final Instagram post.

The “Melrose Place” alum, who suffered a fatal heart attack over the weekend, shared a screenshot of a Deadline story Friday highlighting Chris Hemsworth’s “Kockroach” casting.

“So excited to be a part of this amazing project KOCKROACH directed by Matt Ross starring Chris Hemsworth, Taron Edgerton, Zazzie Beetz and Alec Baldwin,” Muldoon told his followers.

He noted that the movie was “filming now in Australia.”

Two days later, the “Days of Our Lives” alum was pronounced dead at the scene in his Beverly Hills, California, residence.

He spent Sunday morning at home with his partner, Miriam Rothbart, before going to take a shower, according to TMZ.

When Rothbart went looking for Muldoon, she found him unconscious on the bathroom floor.

The previous weekend, Muldoon looked happy and healthy celebrating Easter with “family table jam.”

He posted an Instagram video of himself playing the guitar and singing before the holiday meal.

Muldoon, notably, was the lead singer for the Sleeping Masses band prior to his passing.

In addition to Rothbart, Muldoon is survived by his parents, Deanna Muldoon and Patrick Muldoon Sr., as well as his sister and brother-in-law, Shana and Ahmet Zappa; and their children.

Muldoon’s career began in TK with two episodes of “Who’s the Boss?” followed by a recurring role on “Saved By the Bell.”

He is best known for his role as Austin Reed on “Days of Our Lives” from 1992 and 1995 and then from 2011 to 2012, with him playing Richard Hart on “Melrose Place” during the hiatus.

The soap opera star recently completed three projects that will be released posthumously: “Dirty Hands,” “Stay at Home” and “Pray for Me: Key to Freedom.”
