A man has suffered a head injury during an altercation at a Fortitude Valley bar.
The man, aged in his late 40s, fell and hit his head at Cru Bar on James Street about 10pm.
“Initial investigations indicate around 10pm, a physical altercation has occurred at a James Street business, which resulted in a 49-year-old Bulimba man falling and his head striking the ground,” police said.

He was taken in a stable condition to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
“It was reported the patient fell during or post an altercation,” the Queensland Ambulance Service said.
A Cru Bar spokesperson said it was a police matter and they could not provide more details of the incident.
“Cru Bar is cooperating fully with police, and the matter is being handled through the appropriate channels,” the spokesperson said.
