Louis Tomlinson seemingly confirmed recent reports of an ongoing feud with Zayn Malik by “unfollowing” his former One Direction bandmate on social media.
Page Six can confirm Tomlinson is no longer following Malik on Instagram following claims that the “Pillowtalk” hitmaker punched Tomlinson in a bar fight that resulted in Tomlinson suffering a concussion.
However, Malik appears to still be following Tomlinson as of the timing of this report.
Reps for Tomlinson and Malik dd not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
Sources claimed the incident was sparked while the two musicians were on location filming their 3-part Netflix docuseries.
Malik allegedly made a negative remark about Tomlinson’s late mother, Johannah Deakin, who died of leukaemia in 2016.
“It spiralled into a row then Zayn made a remark about Louis’ mum Johannah [Deakin],” sources told the Sun in a report published Friday.
“Louis was stunned and in shock. As he went to move, Zayn then attacked him. Zayn punched him straight in the face. Because he was wearing rings it cut Louis’ head.”
“He was pulled away and Louis was taken for medical treatment. He was left with a concussion. This happened outside in front of so many people. It was shocking.”
Sources added that the pair have not been in contact with each other since the fight took place six months ago.
As a result of the incident, Netflix is said to have put the documentary series on ice.
The documentary was announced in October, with a projected 2026 release date. The project would have followed Tomlinson and Malik as they went for a road trip throughout the US.
Along the way, it was expected that they would discuss their memories of being in the boy band as well as their late bandmate, Liam Payne.
