Lee, a longtime Knicks fan, knew that his favorite team was going to come out of the Frost Bank Center June 13 as winners.
“I wasn’t going to get on a plane, go to San Antonio to lose,” he teased during a June 15 interview with Fox 5 New York. “They had so many leads over the series. The Knicks refused to die. Our heart was bigger than theirs.”
