Jennifer Tilly brought backup to the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” Season 15 reunion this year.
Leaning into the black, white and gold metallic theme of the group, Tilly certainly stood out in her custom Balmain look — featuring her very own likeness.
The fully beaded, strapless gown boasted Tilly’s face in profile, smirking as she stares into the eyes of the viewer. Her dark hair gives way to the deep brown and black background of the look overall.
In true Tilly fashion, her perfectly-shaped beaded eyebrow is slightly raised, and a faux light source is reflected off of her bold red lips.
The 67-year-old actress took on a similar expression in real life when posing with the group in her couture look, sharing with Bravo, “Rob [Rumsey] did my makeup to look like the front of the dress, so I match.”
She pulled her hair back in a headband, built up at the back and curly down her shoulders, “going with a big ‘70s hairdo.”
Tilly added even more sparkle with the addition of an Art Deco diamond bracelet stack as well as a Bulgari bracelet and ring. Her shoes were Giuseppe Zanotti.
The actress is well-known for her extensive jewelry collection, so it comes as no surprise that she brought the most stately bling to the group event.
When speaking to Bravo, she shared, “I’m wearing a beautiful Balmain dress made specifically for me, and it has my face on the front of it in beads—in millions and millions of beads,” adding, “The dress weighs about 30 pounds.”
The weighty look was certainly more of a piece of art than it was practical, as Tilly told the network, “I can’t really sit in it, but it looks good standing up.”
A similar look was first seen the runway more than a year ago as part of Balmain’s spring 2025 collection.
Just two days later, Kylie Jenner slipped into a custom version of the look with her own face on it.
In a press release form the designer at the time, Olivier Rousteing wrote, “My enduring fascination with intricate embellishments is reflected in complex pearl patterns, pictures and portraits, with some of the impressive photo-realistic creations requiring hundreds of thousands of beads and weeks of expert embroidery.”
This season of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” has been shaded by fans for being “boring,” though cast member Bozoma “Boz” Saint John defended her crew to Page Six, sharing, “Here’s the thing: There has to be moments where you get deep, and sometimes that depth doesn’t require a lot of action, you know, because our lives are really real.”
The Season 15 reunion is set to air on April 23.
