“It’s a weird job to be in because every once in a while you have a few months spurt [without work],” she reflected, “I just had like three or four months off of production for the first time in years.”
As for what she did with all that time off? Ortega struggled to figure out what to do with herself, musing that she had to find a hobby.
“Now I’m cooking again,” she detailed. “I didn’t like the paint on my kitchen cabinet so I’ve been painting my kitchen myself.”
While she was “scared” of not working for so long, the Beetlejuice Beetlejuice alum admitted the break was “necessary.”
“I feel so much better,” she said. “I learned so much about what I enjoy and what I don’t enjoy. And I know how to entertain myself real well now.”
