Jax Taylor professes his ‘love’ for Lori Krebs as couple’s relationship timeline is revealed
Jax Taylor is head over heels for his and his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright’s former publicist, Lori Krebs.
“I love [Krebs] to death. You can’t help who you fall in love with. Everybody deserves to find happiness,” Taylor told an inquiring paparazzo outside a Los Angeles gym on Wednesday.
“I’m in the happiest place I’ve ever been, and I couldn’t be happier right now. My mental health has been so amazing since I’ve been with her,” he went on, adding that he’s “in love with her.”
According to Taylor, he and Krebs, 42, “love each other very, very much,” and their relationship is “the best thing that’s ever happened” to him.
“I’m with somebody who I love very much, and she’s good for me,” reiterated the “Vanderpump Rules” alum, who recently told his Instagram followers that he’s proudly “taken.”
Addressing Cartwright’s scathing takedown of the duo in a recent interview, Taylor acknowledged that his spouse of nearly five years — with whom he co-parents 5-year-old son Cruz — has “every right” to be upset.
However, the 47-year-old insisted broadly that “a lot of the stuff she’s saying is untrue.” Moreover, he argued that he’s “gone through countless amounts of rehab [and] countless amounts of mental health facilities” since their 2024 separation, which he described as the “darkest point in [his] life.”
Therefore, Taylor feels it’s “unfair” for Cartwright to resurface issues “from three years ago” just because she may be hurt by his relationship with Krebs, which was exposed last month when photos emerged showing them on a romantic getaway together.
As a result, Cartwright fired Krebs, who had stopped representing Taylor after he exited “The Valley” last summer.
Cartwright branded Taylor a “narcissist” and Krebs a “snake,” claiming she and the LoriK Public Relations founder were like “sister[s] for 10 years.”
“She knows everything. She knows he manipulates and love bombs, and she still chose that over me and all of her friendships, her job, her family. She chose it over everything, knowing his personality. It was so heartbreaking for me,” the 37-year-old elaborated to Andy Cohen on Wednesday night’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” which aired after Taylor’s pap encounter.
Meanwhile, a source insisted to Page Six that Taylor and Krebs’ romance “did not begin until several months ago,” clarifying that “both were single” when they got together.
“Things developed organically and unexpectedly, as Lori was by Jax’s side through his substance and mental health issues. They formed a deep bond,” our source explained, emphasizing that “this is the first relationship he’s been in sober,” so he’s “taking it very seriously.”
As for the nature of Krebs’ relationship with Cartwright, our source claimed it was “purely professional” and “limited to booking media appearances” in recent years, “especially after her separation from Jax.”
Krebs has not yet addressed the matter publicly, and she did not return Page Six’s request for comment.
