Helena Christensen says Saie eyeshadow is ‘actually magical’
Helena Christensen may be a ’90s icon, but these days she’s keeping an eye out for the latest and greatest clean beauty buys.
The model recently endorsed Saie’s new SuperSuede Baked Eyeshadow, a swipe-and-go formula she called “so insanely cushiony and soft” in a recent People interview.
“It’s actually crazy when such a thin, fine layer of a very natural tone can bring out your own colors in a way that really makes a difference; that surprised me,” said the ageless 57-year-old, who starred in a campaign for the new launch.

Billed as the secret to an “uncomplicated eye,” the formula comes in 11 demi-matte and shimmery shades, all of which offer up to 16 hours of crease-free wear. And as Christensen pointed out, you can even apply them with your fingers for a quick, unfussy makeup look.
“It’s actually magical touching them with your finger because you almost don’t even feel them,” she added. “You don’t need to use any brushes, which I love.”

After all, the star said she’s embracing more “simplicity” in her beauty routine as of late, inspired by the effortless looks she wore in the ’90s.
“I am absolutely the first person to talk endlessly about how freaking cool the ‘90s were in so many ways,” she told the outlet.
Founded in 2019, Saie has quickly become a darling of the clean beauty space. Gwyneth Paltrow was an early investor, and everyone from Miranda Kerr to Paige DeSorbo has raved about the products in recent years.
