Heather Graham reveals monthly mortgage for NYC penthouse

Heather Graham only spends about $3,500 per month to live in an upscale penthouse in New York City.

“My mortgage is really low now actually,” the “Hangover” star said during a tour of the $3 million property published on Caleb Simpson’s YouTube page Friday.

She estimated the payment to be “$3,500 or something like that.”

The “Austin Powers” actress recalled purchasing the home just before Sept. 11, 2001 — and being unable to spend her first night in the penthouse due to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.

“The day that I was moving in, I had my key and it was September 11th,” she told Simpson. “And I was at the Toronto Film Festival, and it was like 8 a.m., I’m like, ‘Today I’m moving into my new apartment!’”

The “Hangover” actress revealed that her monthly mortgage for the penthouse is only about $3,500.
The “License to Drive” actress purchased the apartment in 2001.

“And then we flew past the two towers and then we couldn’t come into the city because it was like, you know,” she continued.

“I had to find a place to stay in Long Island and then I took the subway and the first day I lived here was September 12, 2001.”

Graham noted that she “has a place in LA too.” She sold a Beachwood Canyon house, located below the legendary Hollywood sign, in 2020 — over two decades after purchasing it in 1998.

In 2023, she purchased a multimillion-dollar midcentury style home in Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighborhood — which she was evacuated from during the Palisades Fire in January 2025.

During her New York City apartment tour, she gave fans a peek inside what’s important to her, and her daily life, explaining that she wants her place “to feel like a peaceful oasis. You can be on vacation when you’re home.”

“You can be on vacation when you’re home,” she told Simpson of the space.
The “Boogie Nights” star shared her statue of a deity of Hinduism, Vishnu.

The actress, who will star in Season 4 of “The White Lotus,” took fans into her bedroom, which featured an elaborate carved headboard and a skylight over the bed. “It’s where the magic happens baby!” she laughed as the influencer hopped onto her bed.

She shared her statue of a deity of Hinduism, which serves as a spiritual center of the home. “This is like Vishnu, he’s the protector of the universe,” she told Simpson.

“I told my interior designer, Gillian Lefkowitz, that I wanted like a world traveler vibe,” she explained, “And I’m into spiritual stuff, like yoga.”

She also showed off a large kitchen, complete with green tiles, colorful rugs and a long dining table, which she finds necessary for entertaining.

“I like cooking for people,” she divulged to the YouTuber. “When I cook for people, I want it to feel nurturing.”

While Simpson labelled cooking a “motherly” trait, the “Boogie Nights” star noted that she doesn’t have children.

“People always ask [about children],” Graham shared. “I feel like people are just like, ‘Why would a woman not want to have kids?’ I feel like the younger generation is a little more open-minded about it.”

The only downside to the spacious abode, perhaps, is her “dream closet” — for an unexpected reason.

“This is like a dream closet and mainly because people have walk-in closets, but they don’t have a skylight above it to shine down,” she shared of the space that houses her memorable sartorial pieces.

Graham once said she’s proud of herself for the life she’s built.

“The only bad thing is that sometimes it hits the clothes and kind of like sun damage the clothes.”

Still, she recently confessed she’s “proud” of the life and career she’s built for herself, in which she enjoys the best of the East and West Coasts.

“I live in Los Angeles in a house I bought last year. I also have a loft in New York,” she said in a 2024 interview with the Wall Street Journal, adding that her LA home has spectacular “views of the Pacific.”

“I love the ocean,” she continued. “I also like sitting out back when writing or preparing for a movie. Nature is inspiring.”
