Bringing Up Bates Alum Erin Bates Is “On the Road to Recovery” After Septic Shock Battle
The Bates family just added another member to their brood!
Zach Bates and Whitney Bates announced they welcomed their sixth baby, a little girl, on April 27 by sharing the video of her arrival.
Zach, the eldest of Bringing Up Bates stars William Bates and Kelly Jo Bates’ 19 children, was hands-on in ushering his newest baby into the world. As he prepared to help deliver his daughter, his wife of 11 years gushed, “You’re so cute.”
The 37-year-old encouraged Whitney as she went into labor, telling her to “Keep going.”
Recounting the sweet moment, the 32-year-old—who is also mother to Bradley, 11, Kaci, 9, Khloé, 6, Jadon, 4, and Lily, 2—said it was “one of the sweetest birth experiences I’ve had, filled with moments that I will relive a million times.”
She continued, “Nothing in this world compares to that first moment holding your new baby, and from my very first birth when Dr. Vick helped him with Bradley, this has been one of the most precious, overwhelming and unforgettable experiences of my births, every single time.”
