Andy Sachs will see you now.
Anne Hathaway hit the red carpet at the NYC premiere of “The Devil Wears Prada 2” Monday night, matching the carpet in a brilliant red silk strapless gown and Bulgari jewelry.
She wore her hair down in loose waves to frame her shoulders, which were left bare by the structured bustier of the dress that also featured a flared 3D pleated ankle-length skirt. She paired the gown with matching red platform sandals.
Co-star Meryl Streep, who plays fearsome Runway editor in chief Miranda Priestly in the film, also appeared on the carpet, in red of course — her choice being a red cape accesorized with black gloves and black sunglasses.
Other celebs on the red carpet included Emily Blunt, Simone Ashley, Paige DeSorbo, Heidi Klum, Winnie Harlow and more dressed to impress.
It’s been a fashion-filled promo tour for Streep and Hathaway, of course. The pair have hit premieres around the world including in Mexico City and Seoul.
Most recently, in Shanghai, Hathaway wore a confectionary tea-length Susan Fang gown covered in tulle flowers while Streep went sleek in a Saint Laurent silky jacket with bow tied around the waist.
We’ve certainly seen plenty of cerulean, too, with Streep joking she “stole” Sachs’ sweater for an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” though it was actually a custom J. Crew crewneck.
While Streep posed on the May cover of Vogue alongside real-life Priestly inspiration Anna Wintour, Hathaway herself nabbed the title of People’s Most Beautiful Person, spilling her beauty secrets for the mag.
Aside from a few products, Hathaway credits facial sculpting massages, good lighting and being “aware of your stillness” on the red carpet as three things she swears by.
