All about the ‘Knicks Couture’ courtside dress code for the NBA Finals 2026

Madison Square Garden may be famous for its star-studded “Celebrity Row,” but it’s not always A-listers who score courtside tickets.

Alongside Knicks-obsessed stars like Timothée Chalamet, Kylie Jenner, Jordyn Woods and Spike Lee, you’ll find plenty of ultra-rich sports fans who are just as sharply dressed.

And Roman & Erica co-founder and Rêve Travel Club founder Erica Jackowitz told Page Six Style exclusively how her team caters to the über-wealthy from around the world who are willing and able to shell out for the big game.

“We make it seamless,” she said. “Flights, private jets, in some cases there are helicopters involved. There are stylists involved for sure.”

Securing a ticket is just the start. It’s become an insanely pricey process as Knicks fever takes over; Jackowitz said the prices she’s seeing are “groundbreaking,” as the team hasn’t seen an NBA Final game since 1999 and hasn’t won since 1973.

“We have sourced options with feet on the floor where the owner was private sales, and the owner was willing to sell for half a million dollars,” she told us.

Once you’re in, there’s an unspoken “Knicks Couture” dress code, which Jackowitz said often includes Hermès Birkin bags with custom bling.

“Madison Square Garden for a Knicks game doesn’t operate like any other stadium — even the Rangers,” says Jackowitz. “You go to a Rangers game, everybody’s wearing a Rangers jersey. Everybody’s in full gear, the whole stadium is in red and white.”

Meanwhile: “At the Knicks, they’re not necessarily all wearing jerseys, right? They’re wearing true fashion and couture. They’re sitting courtside and their hair is done, their bags coordinate, their shoes, their jewelry and everything that goes with it.”

London Jewelers is a go-to for the Knicks players themselves, with Josh Hart once posing for the brand’s magazine dripping in diamonds. They also sell Bijoux Bag charms by Ashna Mehta, diamond-encrusted additions that go for five figures.

Mehta offers a blinged-out basketball hoop priced at $26,940, and celeb fans who have commissioned custom charms include Mindy Kaling and Kylie Jenner.

“It’s one of the most viewed runways in the world right now. There’s no other runway in the world that has been more viewed than the Knicks courtside seats,” Jackowitz said, pointing out that the camera is running for three hours straight, showing off the outfits of those lucky enough to score courtside seats “in full.”

“Tell me another runway that compares or has that kind of visibility? I certainly don’t know myself,” she said.

And the fashion show won’t stop on the hardwood: Jackowitz told us that with at least two games still to go, clients are already inquiring about commissioning custom jewelry to commemorate a possible Knicks championship win.
