Last month, fans got to see how the group met Paul Baker (Jack Innanen) in a surprise prequel episode of “Adults”; now, the eight-episode second season is just a few hours away.

“Adults” follows a group of twenty-something best friends — Paul Baker, Billie (Lucy Freyer), Samir (Malik Elassal), Anton (Owen Thiele) and Issa (Amita Rao) — living in Samir’s parents’ house in Queens and figuring out how to grow up together.

Season 2 will catch up with the five friends as they figure out how to “ask for things to change, when [they] also need everything to stay the same,” per FX’s official synopsis

Watch ‘Adults’ Season 2

  • When: Aug. 27, all episodes drop at 9 p.m. ET
  • Streaming: Hulu

“Together, the friends weave intricate webs of multi-player strategy just to avoid hurting someone else’s feelings. They invent elaborate workarounds for problems they’re too afraid to face head-on. It’s not so much that they keep learning the same lessons – it’s that they keep finding new ways to make mistakes. But the one thing they consistently get right: showing up for each other.”

Additionally, Season 2 will explore the fallout from the Season 1 finale, where Paul Baker married Anton to stay in the country instead of marrying his actual girlfriend, Issa. The season ended with Paul Baker and Anton sharing a steamy kiss in front of Issa, Billie and Samir.
