Love Island USA Season 9 Confirmed, Ariana Madix Returning as Host

Another season of Love Island USA will crack on next summer.

The fan-favorite dating experiment was renewed for a ninth season by Peacock, as this year’s hot and heavy competition comes to a close.

“Following a record-breaking summer,” the network said in an Aug. 26 press release, “Peacock announced a season nine renewal of the hit cultural phenomenon Love Island USA.”

As for whether Ariana Madix will return to Fiji, the statement added, “Emmy-nominated host Ariana Madix set to return.”

The beloved Vanderpump Rules personality herself hinted that her role in the Villa was secured earlier this month following rumors she could be departing the gig.

“I do [see that]. And obviously I can’t speak yet to what’s going to be happening next season,” the 42-year-old told Us Weekly. “We did announce already that I will be hosting Love Island Games next year.”

Peacock also previously confirmed the return of Beyond the Villa‘s third iteration, in addition to the challenge-focused spinoff.

But before fans can start exploring with the upcoming series, a first look at season eight’s highly anticipated Aug. 31 reunion, co-hosted by Andy Cohen, promises to bring the heat in the meantime.
