FX’s Sons of Anarchy Spinoff With Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal Revealed

Charlie Hunnam‘s beloved biker gang will ride again.

Because the Sons of Anarchy cast is reuniting for the upcoming spinoff Legends, FX announced Aug. 19.

The new original limited series—which comes over a decade after the seven-season motorcycle drama ended back in 2014—will feature original cast members Katey Sagal (Gemma Taylor Morrow), Ron Perlman (Clay Morrow), Maggie Siff (Tara Knowles), Mark Boone Junior (Bobby Munson), Tommy Flanagan (Chibs), Kim Coates (Tig), Theo Rossi (Juice) and, of course, Hunnam as protagonist Jax Teller.

But here’s the twist.

The actors will all be playing themselves in the action-packed follow-up, a brainchild of Hunnam’s, which blends television fiction and real-life fandom.

“When the cast of Sons of Anarchy reunites at a fan convention after more than a decade,” reads the network’s description, “the line between life and art blurs as the fractured brotherhood finds itself up against a real-world threat more dangerous than anything they ever faced in their show.”
