Sarah J. Maas Reveals Titles, Covers for 2 New ACOTAR Books

“Those were really f–king long,” she noted, “then part four has yet to be written because right now I’m trying to just get part one [out].”

While fans hold their breath for the upcoming novels in the ACOTAR series—which also includes A Court of Mist and Fury, A Court of Wings and Ruin, A Court of Frost and Starlight and A Court of Silver Flames—they’ll also be awaiting more information on the fourth book in her Crescent City series, which she revealed will be a crossover that takes place in the ACOTAR universe.

“I’m very, very excited about that one,” Maas teased during a 2024 appearance on Today. “I know much more about what’s happening in this one. And then the next book in that series, I have the ideas and general, vague thoughts.”

She continued, “But the nitty gritty of writing and the emotional journeys with the characters—I usually love to go on those journeys with them.”
