Country rapper Colt Ford suffered a broken shoulder when his tour bus crashed in Germany, which forced the musician to be rescued through the vehicle’s busted windshield.

Ford, 56, shared a photo of the wreck Wednesday, showing the bus in a grassy ditch with its windshield destroyed and damage to the front passenger side.

“One minute you’re headed to Germany for a show and prepping for a single release the next thing you know your bus is in the ditch and you’re getting pulled through a windshield with a broken shoulder by first responders,” Ford wrote on Instagram.

“The crew is a little banged up but we’re all still here.”

The cause of the crash and its exact location were not immediately known, but the “Ride Through the Country” singer was scheduled to perform Saturday at Tailgate X in Ballenstedt, central Germany, about 100 miles west of Berlin.

Ford’s fellow country artists quickly sent messages of support while referencing the near-fatal heart attack he survived in 2024.

“While I am so relieved you’re alive, I am so sorry for all of this brother,” Meghan Patrick wrote.

“You’ve had more than your share of hard times and Mitchell [Tenpenny] and I are praying for you. Here to help any way we can, love you buddy.”

“Glad yall are okay dude. You have endured some life. Love ya,” Jake Owen said.

“Dang, brother. Glad y’all are OK, but a broken shoulder, not the break you needed. Prayers for a quick recovery, hang in there, bud,” Tracy Byrd added.

The crash comes two years after Ford survived a heart attack during a 2024 performance at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Gilbert, Az.

Ford went into cardiac arrest twice, underwent 10 hours of surgery and spent eight days in a medically induced coma.

“I couldn’t have been anymore on death’s door. I died twice that day,” Ford told Mayo Clinic in March 2025.

“When one of the top heart doctors in the world looks at you and goes, ‘You’re 1% of 1%,’ it can’t get more dire than that.”

Ford said he had no memory of performing at the Arizona venue before the heart attack, but recalled walking back to his tour bus, where he was later found slumped over in a chair.

“I woke up eight days later, and I couldn’t pick up a cup with ice in it and feed it to myself,” he told the clinic.

Following the heart attack, Ford changed his diet and said he lost more than 60 pounds.

“I’ve changed everything. If I go by Whataburger, I’ll eat a grilled chicken sandwich,” he told People in February 2025.

“I don’t do all the fries and stuff. McDonald’s used to be my s— and I loved it but I haven’t even craved it.”

Ford also credited his wife, Megan, with encouraging him to stay active.

“I look good and I feel good. I’m feeling like it’s my Rocky comeback moment,” he said.

“God has more for me to do. For some reason he saw fit to give me another chance, so I intend to do something positive with it.”

Ford is scheduled to return to the US for a concert Aug. 19 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Georgian rose to fame as a country-rap pioneer, co-writing Jason Aldean’s hit “Dirt Road Anthem” and scoring his own success with songs including “Ride Through the Country” and “Workin’ on.”
