They’re filling a gap in the market.

While Gap discontinued its iconic ’90s fragrance line back in the early 2000s, today the retailer dropped reimagined versions of the millennial-loved scents, modernized and elevated as eau de parfums.

The five fragrances are meant for layering, with highlights including Dream — a warm, woody bergamot, jasmine and cedarwood blend, which the brand says is the closest to its previous incarnation.

Three other original scents are also revamped and returning: the fresh lightweight Grass, the soft and sensual Heaven and the rich and grounded Om.

There’s also a completely new addition to the line-up: Harmony, a playful spritz with notes of apricot nectar, gardenia and amber.

Perfumers Honorine Blanc (who worked on the original Gap Beauty line) and Nicole Mancini adjusted the formulas using modern processes and ingredients, though they sought to bottle the same sense of comforting nostalgia.

“This new generation is looking for what was in the ‘90s because there was this comfort,” Blanc told Allure. “The ’90s is becoming today like the comfort, the safety.”

If you can’t choose between the five, there’s also a Discovery Set featuring minis of the full range for just $20.

It’s been a big month for Gap, as the beauty relaunch comes on the heels of star-studded collaborations with the likes of Victoria Beckham and Hailey Bieber. (The latter star’s ’90s-inspired denim collab started flying off in the shelves within a matter of minutes earlier this month.)

At Gap, it would appear, everything old is new again.
