Kate Plus 8’s Kate Gosselin Dog Dead at 15 Months Old

Kate Gosselin is mourning a loss that came too soon. 

The Kate Plus 8 star shared that her and boyfriend Steve Neild’s dog Meika suddenly died July 25 at just 15 months old. 

“I have tried to write this a few times over the last few days,” Gosselin wrote in a July 28 TikTok post. “It feels too final to put it on paper, so to speak. We lost Meika in the middle of the night on Saturday. She went into respiratory failure and they couldn’t revive her.”

Considering Gosselin had only adopted her pup just over a year ago, the former reality TV star emphasized, “I have NEVER in my life been so broken, angry or grief stricken.”

Indeed, the 51-year-old—mom to twins Mady and Cara Gosselin, 25, as well as sextuplets Collin Gosselin, Joel Gosselin, Aaden Gosselin, Leah Gosselin, Alexis Gosselin and Hannah Gosselin, 22, with ex Jon Gosselin—noted she and her boyfriend, as well as their other dog Koda, have been “suffering” since Meika’s death.
