Keke Palmer gushes over ‘genuine’ chemistry with ‘Hot Ones’ host Sean Evans after NYC date

Keke Palmer gushed over her “genuine” chemistry with “Hot Ones” host Sean Evans as their romance heats up.
“Our chemistry is genuine… I couldn’t force that if I tried,” Palmer said during her appearance on “Today” with Jenna & Sheinelle Monday when asked about Evans.
“We always felt that chemistry,” she added.
“It’s life. Essentially, we met at work. We had chemistry. Work husband, work wife. You just have that chemistry with people. Then, we hang out,” Palmer said of their dinner date last month.
When asked how she feels about the internet shipping them as a couple, Palmer quipped, “I was gagged that everybody was ready to marry me off.”
“Guys, let it cook! They married your girl off in two seconds!”
However, the former Nickelodeon star noted that she’s not letting “parasocial” fans dictate what she decides to do with Evans.
“I don’t let it define the way that I think. If anything, I’m always trying to contextualize things. A lot of times I feel like people get that about me. You can’t just take everything at face value. You have to be critically thinking about everything you see.”
Her warm comments about Evans come weeks after Page Six exclusively confirmed that the pair are “hanging out.”
During Spotify’s Conversations That Channel Culture panel, host Jay Shetty asked the Emmy winner whether she is “serious about Sean Evans.”
“We’re hanging out,” the “Scream Queens” alum confirmed, teasing they “never know what could arise.”
She clarified, “[We’re] just tak[ing] it day by day, one wing at a time, so to speak.”
Palmer and Evans first met in 2017 when the “Burbs” star sat down for the latter’s talk show, and they reunited for another episode four years later.
In 2023, Evans admitted that Palmer was his crush while appearing on “Chicken Shop Date.”
During her third “Hot Ones” appearance last year, she asked Evans for a “quick smooch” and the two locked lips on camera — sending fans into a frenzy.
The pair further fueled romance speculation in May with flirty banter on an episode of Palmer’s “Baby, This Is Keke Palmer” podcast.
After social media users urged Palmer and Evans to date, they were caught on camera enjoying dinner on June 12.
Palmer and Evans reportedly ate at Italian restaurant Lucali in Brooklyn and were “locked in” on each other, according to an eyewitness.
The spy insisted there was no PDA but referred to the YouTuber as “smitten.”
