Greg James Reveals When Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Sent Wedding Invites

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding guests ensured their secrets didn’t end up splashed on the news front page.

As for exactly how long they’ve kept the couple’s secret, one guest revealed when he officially received an invitation. Indeed, BBC Radio 1 DJ Greg James, who attended the nuptials with his wife Bella Mackie, revealed he received his invite on March 12. 

“The invitation arrived on my phone,” he recounted during the July 8 broadcast of All Day Breakfast, “ in the form of a link in the middle of the night.”

But the letter left on his digital doorstep came the night before he took off on a charity bike race. Given that he was about to embark on a strenuous journey, he put the invitation in the back of his mind. 

“I had to sit with it all week,” he continued. “I basically turned my phone straight off and was like, ‘I can’t deal with that now, that’s way too mad. I’m about to cycle 1,000 km on a tandem. I can’t do this right now.’ So that was it and I didn’t tell anyone for the whole week.”
