Diddy’s daughters to launch fashion line amid dad’s prison sentence
Sometimes being a nepo baby isn’t just an advantage. Page Six has learned that Diddy’s 19-year-old twin daughters are launching a fashion brand — while their leg-up in life is on lockdown.
But it seems Jessie and D’Lila Combs believe they can pull off the delicate feat of piggybacking on his profile while also separating themselves from his muddied image.
“His press is his press and our press is our press,” D’Lila told us, “Our journey is separate. We try to stay positive, and we’re focused on what we’re building.”
Meanwhile, they say the Sean John founder — who’s serving a 50-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution — has been coaching them on fashion biz from behind bars.
The pair tell us the idea for street/casual line 12TWINTY1 predates their dad’s 2024 arrest, and they’ve been focussing on it since they graduated high school last year.
“We’ve been planning this for about three years now,” Jessie said. “Ever since we were little, we’ve loved fashion.”
“Our dad has always had incredible style, and our mom [the late model Kim Porter] did too, so they’ve both inspired us,” D’Lila said, adding that Combs has also been dispensing advice thanks to his experience building his own fashion brand.
“He’s very proud of us,” Jessie said. “We’ve gone to him for guidance many times, and he’s been incredibly helpful.”
The twins’ mother passed away in 2018 at the age of 47 from natural causes due to a severe lung infection. While Diddy has seven kids, he shared only Jessie, D’Lila and their brother Christian “King” Combs with Porter.
Their first drop, dubbed 777, is another family affair.
The number refers to the twins being born seven minutes apart, while seven was also the favorite number of both Porter and their father.
The collection ranges from $34 tank tops to $119 hoodies.
