Kyle Cooke makes shocking hookup confession at Cannes Lions
Kyle Cooke kissed a girl — and liked it — in Cannes.
The “Summer House” star made a shocking hookup confession during Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” live podcast taping from FreeWheel Beach at Cannes Lions on Wednesday.
“Shoutout to Astrid,” Cooke cheekily told hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy after dubbing himself “DJ The Kissing Bandit.”
When pressed to share more about Astrid, the 43-year-old replied, “She’s in my bed.”
Cooke’s co-star, Lindsay Hubbard, joked that the panel was “already so unhinged” following his surprise admission.
Later in the interview, Cooke addressed his relationship with his alleged new hookup buddy, “Southern Charm” star Salley Carson.
“I think she’s amazing,” Cooke said.
Hubbard, 39, quipped that Carson, 31, “is about to find out about Astrid.”
Cooke, who separated from estranged wife Amanda Batula in January, went on to praise Carson to the hosts.
“I think ‘Southern Charm…’ I love all my friends on that show. I feel like she kind of gets a raw deal,” he said. “I think she’s amazing.”
“She’s a full-time, career-driven woman, and also films. The men should take note on that show,” the Loverboy founder added.
Earlier this month, Us Weekly reported that Cooke and Carson were having a “new and casual” fling.
“They’ve only hung out a few times but get along really well,” an insider told the outlet. “They have a lot of chemistry.”
The source, who said they saw the reality stars together at the By the Way restaurant and bar in Charleston, South Carolina, on June 6, also claimed Cooke is “really into” Carson.
Cooke was asked about Carson during the “Summer House” Season 10 reunion that taped on April 23, admitting they kissed “the night before the ‘Summer House’ premiere” in February.
In the last few months, Cooke has been enjoying the single life by embarking on a makeout streak with fans at his DJ sets.
He was also spotted kissing “RHOC” alum Meghan King Edmonds, 41, outside the bar where Page Six’s “Love Letter to ’90s New York: Revisited” event took place in April.
Cooke was married to Batula for four years before they announced their split at the beginning of the year.
During the “Summer House” reunion, the exes revealed they didn’t have sex throughout their entire marriage.
Batula, 34, is now dating Cooke’s former friend West Wilson, which has caused major drama within the cast.
