Courteney Cox Shares New Photo of Daughter Coco Arquette for Birthday

“We bicker, let’s be honest, but we love each other,” Courteney told People in 2018. “We laugh a lot, for sure.”

The actress also noted that she and her then-teenage daughter were navigating their dynamic.

“I want her to tell me everything, and she doesn’t want to tell me anything,” she continued. “Exactly the opposite of the childhood I had.”

But for Coco, their relationship was exactly as it should be.

“I would also describe it as, well, I am a 13-year-old girl, you are a mom, so I love you, but of course we’re gonna get in fights,” the teen said. “But we’re very close. Very close. I love you a lot.”
