And the Overboard actress truly believed that she and Parker would be together forever. 

“Marriage in my family is really a sacred sacrament. It wasn’t something we did frivolously,” she said. “Our mantra was, ‘Divorce is not an option.’ We always would kid about that— I’ll kill him before I divorce him.”

Following her divorce from Parker, Longoria married Mexican businessman José Bastón in 2016, with the two welcoming son Santiago in 2018. 

Meanwhile, Parker married French journalist Axelle Francine in 2014. The pair, who share sons Josh, 12, and Liam, 9, split in 2020.
