
Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora were the proud parents of the bride, watching their daughter Ava Sambora tie the knot on Saturday.
Ava, 28, married her longtime boyfriend, Tyler Farrar, in front of friends and family at an outdoor ceremony in Montecito, California.
Locklear, 64, attended the nuptials with her boyfriend, Lorenzo Lamas, while Richie, 66, sat in the same row as his ex.
Ava is an actress and model with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Loyola Marymount University and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from the University of Southern California. According to LinkedIn, Farrar is an investment associate at Pacific Partners Real Estate in Los Angeles.
The young couple first appeared on Ava’s social media in March 2019 with a St. Patrick’s Day-themed post. “My lucky charm 🍀,” she captioned a photo of herself sitting on Farrar’s lap in green.
Farrar featured a photo of Ava in 2018.He proposed in February 2024, surrounded by a white rose-festooned arch and candles. “Hard launch!” the duo captioned their joint post of sunset photos.
Earlier this month, Ava had a floral-themed bridal shower. She shared photos to social media showing the gift boxes, a table covered in blooms and Ava posing alongside her mom.
“The most beautiful bridal shower,” Ava wrote in the caption. “Thank you to all the amazing women who hosted, organized, and attended this special day. I am beyond grateful for each of them, especially my mama, God mother Juliet, future mother in law Mary, and sister Monica.”
The former Bon Jovi guitarist has given the thumbs-up on his new son-in-law.
During a November 2024 appearance on the “Howie Mandel Does Stuff” podcast, Richie said he and Farrar have a close relationship.
“It’s like, you know, my speech [at the engagement party] was they’re really in love. I love the kid,” he said. “I mean I’ve taken him on vacation. I like to put him right in the limelight so I get to know him, I get to see him, we get to talk.”
