“I can take my audience’s criticism and opinions,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories May 10. “The last 3 albums have came [sic] under the same scrutiny and it eventually grew on people. Thank you for even taking the time out to listen.”
Chris’ latest album comes weeks after he welcomed his fourth baby, his first with Jada Wallace.
Posting pictures of her pregnant baby belly as well as a photo of her newborn drinking out of a bottle, Jada wrote on Instagram April 26, “Purest Love.”
Previously, the “Kiss Kiss” singer—also dad to kids Royalty, 11, with Nia Guzman, Aeko, 6, with Ammika Harris and Lovely, 4, with Diamond Brown—shared how fatherhood has been a “mellowing” experience.
“I have a co-parenting job that’s pretty amazing,” he said in a 2015 appearance on On Air with Ryan Seacrest, “but learning how to be a dad, especially learning how to take care of somebody else, I barely know how to brush my teeth in the morning!”
“It’s actually great,” he added. “It’s very humbling. It’s very calming.”
