Dianna Russini deletes Twitter account

Diana Russini deleted her X account (formerly known as Twitter) as drama surrounding photos of herself with Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel escalated.

The former Athletic reporter’s content was no longer visible on the platform as of Thursday evening, Page Six can confirm.

The sports journalist previously posted her resignation letter to the platform after Page Six published photos of her spending time with Vrabel in March at a luxury resort in Arizona.

Russini and Vrabel were also seen in photos from March 2020, chatting at a New York bar and even apparently kissing, in photos published by Page Six on Thursday.

The sports journalist initially claimed the resort photos were taken out of context, and that she and Vrabel — with whom she was snapped holding hands — were joined by several other pals at the luxury Sedona getaway.

Multiple sources told Page Six, however, that wasn’t the case.

Vrabel, meanwhile, told Page Six earlier this month that the photos “show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable. This doesn’t deserve any further response.”
