Anna Wintour will star in new Netflix doc about Vogue

The Devil will be on Netflix!

Anna Wintour is being followed by Oscar-winning documentary maker Fisher Stevens for a new project with the streamer — delving into the world of Vogue and preparation for the biggest night in New York City’s celebrity calendar, the Met Gala, Page Six can reveal.

Stevens, who helmed David Beckham’s hit Netflix docu-series, “Beckham,” has been shadowing the 76-year-old fashion doyenne for the past few months and was with her at Paris Fashion Week in March.

The doc, co-directed by Stevens’ wife, Alexis Bloom, will also explore Vogue’s global editions and reach, we’re told.

Stevens, 62, won an Oscar for his doc “The Cove” in 2009 and an Emmy in 2024 for “Beckham,” both of which played on Netflix.

And we’re told that, while a deal is not fully signed off, the Vogue project will also land on the streamer.

Wintour met Stevens, who had a recurring role as Hugo on “Succession,” while he was working with the Beckhams, who are good pals of hers.

“Will we finally get to meet the real Anna?” said a source. “Fisher is extraordinarily good at getting people to open up.”

Stevens managed to bring David, 50, to tears on camera as the former footballer recalled how he and wife Victoria were “drowning” amid the difficult period they faced in 2003 when reports of his alleged affair with his assistant Rebecca Loos came to light.

“Every time we woke up we felt like there was something else and we felt that we were not losing each other but drowning,” David said.

Victoria Beckham was also a big part of “Beckham.”

Page Six was previously told by a source, “Fisher’s looking at the world behind the scenes as [Wintour] takes on this new global role and hands over Vogue.”

Wintour handed over the reins of Vogue’s day-to-day operations to Chloe Malle last September but remains global chief content officer of publisher Condé Nast and global editorial director for the fashion bible, continuing to oversee major projects like the Met Gala.

Stevens is not actually going inside the gala, sources said, but will film with Wintour as she arrives and in the run up to the ball on Monday, May 3.

He was spotted attending New York Fashion Week events in February.

Wintour, meanwhile, has been making hay out of the promo for the new “Devil Wears Prada 2” and joined Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt at the Manhattan premiere Monday.

As we revealed, she paid a visit to the sequel’s Milan set and ended up making an appearance in a gag reel, director David Frankel and screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna told Amy Odell in an interview for her “Back Row” podcast.

As for why Wintour won’t appear on the big screen? “That felt too meta to us to put her in the movie,” Frankel said.
