“Love on the Spectrum” stars Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman called it quits after growing apart.

“There was no fight over engagements and rings being thrown around,” Abbey’s mom, Christine Romeo, shared via a YouTube video alongside her cousin Mary Romeo on Sunday.

“You know, Abbey would say she wanted to get married, which really meant, ‘I want to feel like a normal person in the world and do what they do in their relationships,’” Christine added.

“It was almost like having a party, not the idea of moving in together,” she added, noting that they didn’t “talk about” that step.

Christine explained that Abbey, 27, and Isaacman, 31, realized they had different outlooks on life, saying, “David was happy in his way of doing life.”

“And Abbey’s was different,” she continued. “And they found that out over this period of time.”

Christine explained that the exes (seen here) had a different outlook on life.

The matriarch labeled her daughter’s five-year relationship with Isaacman as “successful,” adding, “I’m grateful for the time they had. It was a fabulous relationship.”

“I think they will have a forever bond,” she continued. “There was no fight.”

Additionally, Christine noted that Season 4 of “Love on the Spectrum,” which was released on Netflix earlier this month, was filmed nearly a year before the split.

Mary, meanwhile, echoed Christine’s statement, adding that Abbey and Isaacman grew “in different directions.”

Recalling how she would supervise their zoo dates, Mary said, “And I mean, that happens a lot, you know. And for them, their love of lions is like so pure, but I don’t think it was maybe enough for what they needed in their next step of the relationship.”

Earlier this month, news broke that Abbey and Isaacman had parted ways after meeting on Season 1 of the Netflix dating show.

“Abbey and David spent four and a half years together and truly value the time they shared and each other,” the duo and their families wrote in a statement to People.

“At this point, they want different things and have decided to go their separate ways, but they remain friends wishing each other the best,” the statement continued.

Weeks before the split, Abbey appeared on the “We Need To Talk” podcast and gushed over the places she and Isaacman enjoyed visiting, including Disneyland, the LA Zoo, Universal Studios and the Griffith Observatory.
